Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, KillaDBA came into prominence after his custom-made song about SQL Server 2016 garnered the attention of developers from Microsoft's Redmond base in Seattle. This notoriety led to an opportunity to perform at Microsoft's Seattle campus, followed by a captivating presence at a SQL Server Saturday event. KillaDBA's growing recognition facilitated the creation of a dedicated Microsoft-sponsored commercial, and his song was featured on Microsoft's official online blog.
KillaDBA has since written and performed songs for prominent tech events such as Microsoft Ready, Microsoft Imagine Cup, Microsoft Application Business Summit, Health Tech Weekend at Tech Square Labs on Georgia Tech's campus, and PASS Summits from 2017 to 2022.
